It has been literally years since I kept up a blog (or even had an up-to-date site), but I’m starting fresh here, with a plan to just post a bit of what I’m working on and how I’m working on it.

Current status: I’d done a couple of drafts that seemed almost complete and couldn’t figure out how to put the pieces-parts together. So this morning, boosted by an extra-strong pour over coffee, I wrote out a list of plot points. Well, I started to write out a list of plot points, and realized that several of those items were actually back story/world building and not so much things that, you know, happened in the story. So I relabeled that list “world building” and made a new list of plots points that I organized into scenes and now I am in a much better position to write the thing.
